Meal Planning and Grocery Support for Busy Households

Weeknight dinners are less about cooking than about decisions. What are we eating, do we have it, who is home, and when did anyone last go to the store? Answering those questions every evening is one of the most persistent parts of the mental load.

Salt and Pine takes the planning and sourcing off your plate. Chelsea builds a weekly meal plan around your household's preferences and schedule, turns it into a grocery list, and handles the shopping so the ingredients are in the kitchen when you need them.

This is logistics support, not nutrition advice. The plan reflects what your household already likes to eat and how much time you realistically have to cook on a Wednesday.

Every evening starts with the same question and ends with takeout.

What this looks like in practice

What is not included

Salt and Pine focuses on household coordination, not licensed or specialized trades. This service does not include:

  • Nutrition, dietetic, allergy or medical advice
  • Personal chef or in-home cooking services
  • Catering or large-event food preparation
  • Guaranteeing product availability or store pricing

How recurring weekly support works

Meal planning is inherently weekly, which makes it a natural anchor for a recurring plan. A standing session covers the plan, the list, the shop and a quick pantry reset — usually in the same visit as errands and household administration.

Once the household's preferences, staples and rhythms are known, the weekly turnaround gets faster and the plan needs less input from you each time.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cook the meals?

No. Salt and Pine handles planning, shopping, kitchen organization and prep logistics. In-home cooking and personal chef services are not offered.

Can you work around allergies or dietary preferences?

Yes. Plans and shopping follow the preferences and restrictions you provide. Chelsea does not give nutritional or medical guidance — she follows your household's stated requirements.

How does payment for groceries work?

Arrangements for purchases are agreed in advance during your consultation, and receipts are provided for everything bought on your behalf.

Can you handle grocery pickup instead of in-store shopping?

Yes. Managing online orders, pickup slots and delivery windows is often the most efficient option and is fully supported.
